Alfred Schofield is a life-long Massachusetts resident with deep roots on the Cape and South Shore. After growing up in Barnstable and graduating from Barnstable High School, Alfred attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Afterward, Alfred moved to Wellesley to complete his Master’s degree from Babson College, graduating summa cum laude.
Upon leaving Babson, Alfred co-founded VitalFit Nutrition with classmate and friend Cameron Fischer. After three years of rapid growth and a nationwide partnership with Equinox (fitness company), VitalFit was acquired by TB12, Tom Brady’s health and wellness brand. After the acquisition, Alfred held several leadership at TB12 roles, ultimately leading the e-commerce division.
With a desire to return to his roots, Alfred joined Paul Grover, a long time mentor and principal of Berkshire Hathaway Robert Paul Properties, as VP of Strategic Growth. After integrating with their team and building his industry tool kit, Alfred joined Tony Guthrie, an industry leader, to found the Tony Guthrie Group. Together, Alfred and Tony support clients through their dynamic mix of local market knowledge, vast business experience, and unparalleled customer service.
In his personal life, Alfred is married to his wife Emilia, and they have a Boston Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog named Blue. They currently split time between Hingham and Cape Cod and together founded Rising Tide Real Estate, completing several real estate investment/renovation projects. In their free time, Alfred and Emilia love spending time on their boat in Barnstable Harbor in the summer and skiing throughout New England in the winter!
