As spring unfolds on Cape Cod, the town of Brewster bursts into color and celebration with its cherished annual event: Brewster in Bloom. From May 2nd to May 4th, 2025, this 39th iteration promises a weekend filled with vibrant festivities, community spirit, and the natural beauty that defines the Cape.

Friday, May 2nd

Brewster Band Spring Concert: Kick off the weekend with a musical evening at the Brewster Baptist Church. Under the direction of John E. New, the band will perform selections from The Music Man, Jersey Boys, The Greatest Showman, and more. The concert begins at 7 PM, and while admission is free, donations are welcomed to support future performances.

Ocean Edge Tasting Showcase: From 5 PM to 7 PM, indulge in a culinary journey at the Mansion Ballroom. Sample dishes and beverages from nine of Ocean Edge Resort’s dining venues. Tickets are $45 per person, offering a taste of the Cape's finest flavors.

Cape Cod 5 Bloom Run: Lace up for a 5K run starting at 10 AM from the Brewster Inn & Woodshed. Registration opens at 8:30 AM, with entry fees at $40 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Participants registering by April 14th receive an event t-shirt.

Fine Arts & Crafts Show: Explore over 86 artisans showcasing their creations at the Bay Property (3057 Main Street) from 10 AM to 5 PM. This juried show offers a variety of handcrafted items, perfect for personal use or gifts. Admission and parking are free.

Historic Windmill Village Open House: Step back in time with guided tours of the 1795 Higgins Farm Windmill, the 1867 Hopkins Blacksmith Shop, and the 1795 Harris-Black House. Open from 12 PM to 3 PM, this event offers a glimpse into Brewster's rich history.

Ocean Edge Kentucky Derby Watch Party: Celebrate the "most exciting two minutes in sports" at Bayzo’s Pub from 5 PM to 7 PM. Enjoy complimentary signature cocktails, southern-inspired hors d’oeuvres, and a Best Hat Contest.

Brewster in Bloom Parade: The weekend culminates with a vibrant parade starting at 1 PM from Eddy Elementary School, proceeding west on Main Street to Swamp Road. This year's theme, “Let’s Take a Hike!”, promises creative floats and community participation.
